- - MtFury Co : The Recognized Engineering Leader in Automating Polymer Dosage in Dewatering and Clarification Applications - -

- - CS-1 - Clarifier Supervisor - -

  • Regulates flocculant addition to clarifiers and geobag dewatering installations.
  • Benefits include handling variable solids loading and mineral composition.
  • Principal applications are in quarries and dredging etc.
  • Includes air cleaning and sensor electronics for CS-11 floc sensor (below).
  • Pulses and 4-20 mA output for flocculant pump control.
  • Additional control sensor inputs allow optional flow, sludge level and clarity feedback control (though flocculant dosage modulation).

- - CS-11 - Clarifier Supervisor Floc Sensor - -

  • Responds to both solids loading and flocculation in Clarifier Supervisor flocculant control applications.
  • Pictured model is suspended in clarifier center well or similar tanks located after flocculant addition.
  • Sensor spacing can be field adjusted to adjust to extremes in suspended solids concentration (smaller gap for larger solids concentration.)
  • Sensor can be custom installed in flanges for installation in pipe tees.
  • 316 stainless steel with sapphire optical windows for great resistance. Available in titanium for higher chemical resistance.

- - DS-1 - Dosage Supervisor - -

  • Specifically designed for effluent clarity regulation through flocculant and coagulant dosage control.
  • Unique algorithm senses the response to automatic step changes in dosage to determine controller gain, and to limit dosage below the point of overdosing.
  • Optimum clarity can be obtained through automatic setpoint management by the Dosage Supervisor. Alternatively, optimum polymer reduction can be obtained using an operator determined clarity target.
  • Can provide a second output ratioed to the primary 4-20 mA output for a fixed flocculant/coagulant ratioing. For the most difficult application, a second Dosage Supervisor can be "slaved" to cooperatively adjust coagulant dosage based on its effect on effluent clarity.
